Talk about a bad weather this weekend, My God, Im soo stressed out
Last week we went to the hotel because jasmine came over, and now it has turned into this big fight that has been going on for 2 weeks
So the thing was that Our church had a program last week, friends and family week right. so i was needed to take some pictures, which i didnt take btw
so mom didnt want me to go to the hotel … but it was 2 against 2. i felt so lost, and i didnt even make a the choice
So on our way to the hotel in out town btw. I was really upset, and i said some things, which i think its came to bit me in my ass. i said :mom is so annoying, not whating me to go. and shit. and fucking big ass mouth jasmine.. ugh dumbass bitch.. always smelll like shit, must have told her mom
But i mean, on sunday moring when they came and dropped us off, everything was cool. they even made a wack ass joke about leavuing my mom and him alone…. ughhh . ill get to that another day. but they were laughing and shit. which made me to think that jasmine on the way over back to jersey, or even when they were at the hotel. she told her mom. i mean we spent the night. why should she open her dumbass mouth and say shit right. ugh
so this nice afternoon sunday, jasmine mom isnt talking to my mom. and mom is gonna call her tomorrow. i cant have this stress upon me
this is why I repeat everything that I HATE AFRICANS. they are the fucking worst. always in their feels and shit
I just hope this fight dies down, and doesnt end badly.. Im still gonna be in this mood up until tomorrow.. until i hear something good. Ill just watch t.v and try my beset to take my off it ugh
As a former surfer, Paul Bobko had plenty of time to observe waves of all shapes and forms. It was during this time that he found his inspiration for his series Water Landscapes-Suspended Energy.
About the project:
In his magnum opus, Gravity’s Rainbow, Thomas Pynchon introduces us to the German concept of Brenschluss in the telemetry of the flight of the V2 rocket. The rocket is propelled by its engines and travels along its parabolic arc. At a certain point the engines turn off, this flameout is called brenschluss. At brenschluss the rocket’s ascendancy is checked by gravity, and before it begins to fall to its target on earth, it hesitates for just a moment. After this moment gravity and momentum alone, not a rocket engine, define the inexorable trajectory of descent to its inevitable, calamitous end.
So to do Paul Bobko’s Water Landscapes-Suspended Energy photographs allow us to see that very moment of hesitation when the force of nature that is the ocean wave, ceases to be propelled by the surging forces of the ocean floor. The ocean suddenly lets go and sets it free, it hesitates at this moment of release, then crashes on the shore, liberated, but spent. Bobko shows us this very moment of hesitation, before the explosion. The outline of the explosion is clear and coming, but it hasn’t happened yet, it is, as yet, prelude…the power is still coiled in the curl, frozen for this second. Light comes glowing through that watery tunnel, foam is leaping from its crest, escaping and ecstatic. The menace is limned in the terrifying flexing of its form. It is most exhilarating to see the noun become the verb.
